Don Valley Parkway, Toronto Rainbow Tunnel Mural Unveiling And Celebration Last month there was a special unveiling and ribbon cutting ceremony for the Rainbow Tunnel Mural, which is visible east of the Don Valley Parkway, but actually located on the East Don Trail, just east of Mocassin Trail Park. The newly painted mural takes the viewer on a walk through a beautiful ‘rainbow’ of scenes and seasons. The event provided the opportunity to meet the artists, local youth artists, local councillors, city officials and community volunteers who participated in the design and painting of the 60+ ft. inner-tunnel of Toronto’s much loved DVP Rainbow. Supported by City of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation, this mural revitalized and transformed a badly tagged tunnel. Rainbow Tunnel Mural Project The completed Rainbow Tunnel Mural in the Don Valley was unveiled and celebrated on August 23, 2013 I took this photo Jan 18, 2014
