This is at the Hamilton Botanical Gardens, in Ontario. I had to wait for almost an hour to get this view without Brides with their Bridal Parties, Photographers, Grooms, Groomsmen, and families to move on to another location.
This bridge is on the road to the Dufferin Islands, a short distance from Niagara Falls. Dufferin Islands is a series of small footpath islands connected by walkways, and footpath bridges. Serene, peaceful, I want to go back in the summer and see the difference from the fall.
This sapling is in Bluffer’s Park and has spent it’s young life being buffeted by strong winds. Obviously the winds were strong and constant to have bent it in this permanent position. I wonder how this tree is doing, I should go and check on it.
This was discovered one morning in early August, not long before I was going to leave to go home! There had not been a double flower in one pod before, so it was a real treat for me to capture this and also for the homeowner to have this happen on her bush! In fact there was a second double flower pod a few days later! This bush is about 20 years old.
We went to visit a new friend and I was amazed at the talent of this woman, she paints, does tile work, sometimes making her own tiles and always paints them herself. This is a two headed elephant table that she hand painted and the colours are rich and bold! I did capture some of her tile work. As well she does oil painting and water colour painting.
